Fresh Lens Film Festival
Fresh Lens is a new Kentucky festival of short films celebrating bold, creative undergraduate filmmaking. Our mission is to provide a platform for emerging Kentucky talent to share their stories, showcase their artistry and connect with audiences across the region. This juried festival will award $3,000+ in cash prizes.

By showcasing the work of undergraduate filmmakers, Fresh Lens aims to inspire collaboration, foster community engagement, and elevate the next generation of cinematic storytellers in Kentucky and beyond. The festival will provide networking opportunities with Kentucky producers and other film industry professionals, creating connections that will last a lifetime. This juried festival will award $3,000+ in cash prizes in categories like Best Narrative Film, Best Documentary, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Emerging Female Filmmaker (final categories will be based on submissions).
